The standard calls for the Pixie Bob to MIMIC the look of the bobcat. At this point in our program we feel we have many similarities such as a coarse thick coat with nice spots, tips on the ears and tufts along the jaw line. Our Pixie Bobs are large in size with some males having reached 20 lbs. However, we continue to breed towards the look of the Pixie Bob's legendary ancestry. |

Male cats range in weight from 12-20 lbs. The females usually top out at 12 lbs. The males are typically more heavily muscled than the females. Keep in mind that they continue to grow and fill out the first three years of their life. |

No. This is not to say, however, that they do not talk to you. Most Pixie-Bobs have a series of chirps and chortles in their communication as well as an occasional meow. These other sounds are commonly made during play time and for expressing affection. |

Even though our cats contains Legend Cat, we only sell multiple generations from the foundation blood. This means our cats include the intelligence and physical power of their feral ancestors but also the loving gentle nature of the Pixie Bobs chosen to be used in the breeding program. The result is a highly intelligent cat |

Our cats are raised in our homes with our families. They bond quickly. It is not unusual when you first get your kitten for it to bound from the kennel and its first question be, Where's the food? It will lovingly approach each member of the family and steal your hearts. They also get along with other family pets and children. |

We feed our kittens a high protein diet such as Science Diet or Iams. To supplement a dry diet we supply them with a daily meat diet. This can be prepared canned food containing chicken or turkey of your choice. If you choose to feed real meat, please cook it so it will be safe. |
